Inspection & Regulatory Reports
Rubies Limited services are registered with and are subject to regular inspection by external regulatory bodies. These are Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Safeguarding & Risk Management
At Rubies Limited we endeavour to provide safe and effective services. This includes the need to achieve, maintain and promote a culture of openness, honesty, and awareness throughout the organisation and with everyone who is involved with Rubies Limited services. We enable individuals to speak out if they have concerns, and to be reassured that they will be supported through the process and not victimised.
We seek to take a positive and measured approach to risk management.
Safeguarding
Rubies Limited are committed to providing safe and effective services that:
• Prevent harm
• Identify and manage risk
• Support people based on their individual needs
The young people and adults we support may be especially at risk due to a range of factors, for example:
Difficulty understanding the possible consequences of their own actions or those of other people.
Struggling to express feelings of fear or concern.
Understanding motives.
Concepts of what constitutes risk.
Our staff are trained to provide person-centred service and are supported to deliver these plans. We provide support to individuals to enable and empower them to express concerns or fears for example in the form of individual communication plans and safeguarding and complaints tools.
We aim to ensure that all staff are safely recruited and properly trained, supervised and managed, with an active induction that emphasises our 'zero tolerance' of abuse and neglect right from the outset.
Risk Management
To achieve positive outcomes we aim to use properly designed, effective processes that identify and assess risk; and to evaluate the best and most appropriate measures to reduce the chance of an adverse event occurring.
Health & Safety
Rubies Limited is a people-centred service, committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of the people using our services, our employees and any other person who may be affected by our activities.
Advocacy
The views and opinions of all young people and adults at Rubies Limited are very important to us. Ample opportunities are put in place to ensure that these vulnerable people are heard.
We have policies in place that underpin this and gives everyone of our service users a guide to how we listen to and support their views.
Advocacy services are available to enhance our provision and our commitment to properly facilitating each person’s expression of their needs, wishes, aspirations and fears.
Consent & confidentiality
We strive to uphold the privacy and dignity of everybody who uses Rubies Limited's services, including through our policy on Information Sharing and Confidentiality, and associated guidance; as well as through linked policies and guidance, including those on Communication, People’s Rights and Contact with Family and Friends, as well as the Staff Code of Practice. Gender Pay Gap
We are an employer required by law to carry out Gender Pay Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. The challenge in our organisation and across Great Britain is to eliminate any gender pay gap. We will continually analyse and reflect on:
The levels of gender equality in our workplace.
The balance of male and female employees at different levels
How effectively talent is being maximised and rewarded.
